Gohan wants to win the tournament. Gohan wants to fight the tournament as Base. Gohan wants Vegeta to fight as Base knowing Piccolo is there. Base Vegeta says he would win the tournament and that is not contradicted when Piccolo is seen. (Optional only) Gohan mentions turning SSJ would be unfair "could be Bulma". What shows Piccolo > Base Saiyans "oh my power level gaps don't work with that"

Especially when Piccolo's power was unclear.
